Embury is proud of its new campus at 75 Silverton Road, Musgrave, Durban, 4001. Our Durban Musgrave Campus combines old-world charm with modern architectural aesthetics. Able to accommodate over 2,000 students, it is located close to a number of pre-primary, primary and high schools – ideal for Embury students, who spend a portion of their learning time gaining practical experience in different school environments.

About our Durban Musgrave Campus

Backed by state-of-the-art technology, our lecture theatres are equipped with digital recording facilities to enable live-streaming of lectures. As Embury promotes a blended learning model, students are now able to enjoy a combination of digital learning and traditional face-to-face teaching. The new campus also offers lecture venues with top-of-the range lecterns that include interactive whiteboards. Additional computer rooms, research and self-study areas, a Resource Centre and a dedicated Science Discovery Lab are on-site to offer students all the advantages of modern digital technology.

The campus comprises eight lecture venues, a student café, computer rooms, a library and recreational areas where students can relax and chat.

The Embury Durban campus is currently situated in Musgrave, which is a vibrant, busy and cosmopolitan area close to many schools, shopping centers, residences and the beach.

Campus Life

We at Embury understand that there is more to life than just studying. Developing future educators means that we are also developing socially responsible individuals who are capable of balancing work and study deadlines with play. Embury Durban Student Representative Council (SRC) members work hard to ensure ample opportunities are created for students to participate in fun activities such as beach volleyball, Corporate Social Investment (CSI) opportunities focussed on upskilling and developing rural schools and quiz evenings with staff and students.

In addition to its campus life, Embury Durban also provides counselling services to students in need.
