In January 2018 we are moving to our NEW Durban campus! The new campus will be on the corner of Stephen Dlamini and Silverton Roads in the leafy and thriving suburb of Musgrave. Embury Musgrave site subject to registration with the Department of Higher Education and Training

There will be easy access to the new campus, as it is only a stone’s throw from the N3. Also, there will be safe, on-site parking for staff and students. The campus will have two auditoriums, eight lecture rooms, a dedicated science/art room, and two computer labs. Starting in January 2018, Embury’s Durban Campus will have a whole new face! We look forward to sharing in this exciting new chapter in Embury history with you.

About our Durban Campus

The campus comprises eight lecture venues, a student café, computer rooms, a library and recreational areas where students can relax and chat.

The Embury Durban campus is currently situated in Morningside, Durban, which is a vibrant, busy and cosmopolitan area close to many schools, shopping centres, residences and the beach. The campus comprises eight lecture venues, a student café, computer rooms, a library, and recreational areas. 

Campus Life

We at Embury understand that there is more to life than just studying. Developing future educators means that we are also developing socially responsible individuals who are capable of balancing work and study deadlines with play. Embury Durban Student Representative Council (SRC) members work hard to ensure ample opportunities are created for students to participate in fun activities such as beach volleyball, Corporate Social Investment (CSI) opportunities focussed on upskilling and developing rural schools and quiz evenings with staff and students.

In addition to its campus life, Embury Durban also provides counselling services to students in need.

Accommodation

There a variety of student accommodations in close proximity of the campus. This partnership assists students from other provinces and remote areas of KZN with safe and secure accommodation while studying at Embury. With Embury Durban’s location, many other accommodation facilities are nearby to assist students with easy access to campus. Embury Durban is also conveniently located near major public transport and taxi routes.
